Unity Club highlights actionable pathways for Ukraine’s recovery
Washington, D.C., October 22, 2025
In Washington, DC, the Unity Club participated in a discussion, organized by the Diplomacy Center Foundation and the Ambassador Club International, that touched on Ukraine’s post-war recovery, security, and investment future. The discussion involved Ambassador Roman Popadiuk and Pavlo Chumak, who framed reconstruction not as a relief effort but as an economic and strategic opportunity for the democratic world.
“Rebuilding Ukraine is not charity,” said Mr. Chumak. “It’s a shared investment in stability, innovation, and freedom.”

The presentation outlined Unity Club’s vision for converting policy dialogue into executable projects bridging diplomacy, finance, and enterprise. Ambassador Popadiuk spoke on the global context and the importance of sustained transatlantic engagement, stressing that recovery planning must run in parallel with security guarantees.

The session closed with an open Q&A that drew strong participation from the audience. Discussion centered on practical next steps: de-risking mechanisms, investment frameworks, and international coordination to accelerate Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Unity club will continue its briefing series, connecting policy makers, investors, and civic leaders committed to rebuilding a free and competitive Ukraine.
